Genie Birch brings a fresh perspective to the real estate industry. Prior to joining the business, Genie studied interior design and did a great deal of volunteer work all while raising her family and residing in Mexico. A native Chicagoan, Genie expanded her horizons by living outside of the country, where she mastered several languages including Spanish and French.
“Moving back to Chicago gave me a chance to see the city with new eyes,” said Genie, who specializes in the city. “It is such a wonderful city and has much to offer. My love for the city allows me to truly enjoy the work that I do.”
Whether working with first-time buyers or repeat clients, Genie feels that it is necessary to guide each person throughout. It can be a daunting task to embark on finding a place to call home and she has what it takes to navigate the market on your behalf. An added bonus, Genie’s interior design background helps her to provide her clients with the vision of what things could look like.
Genie has received numerous accolades including the Rising Star Award in 1994 and the Preserving the Trust Award in 1995, which is given to only one agent from the entire Chicagoland area.
Priding herself on her ability to serve both buyers and sellers, Genie also firmly believes that being fair is one of the most crucial aspects to this job. Her motto: to offer the best service to every client, regardless of the size of the purchase or sale. Each transaction is important and receives her fullest attention.
Outside of work, Genie still enjoys giving back to the community and is involved with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity as well as the newly formed Hispanic Real Estate professionals association.
